EFP is an individualized and unique counseling experience that promotes insight and awareness while partnering with horses and sharing those experiences in a supportive environment. Safety and compassion are at the core of the interactions between humans and horses in EFP sessions. Individual EFP sessions will consist of the client, the horse(s), and Erin (a trained EFP clinician) collaboratively working together in unmounted activities.
Counseling services are voluntary and require a very active effort on your part. All clients will receive a comprehensive assessment and will collaborate with Erin to develop an individualized and comprehensive treatment plan based on your strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences. There can be many goals for your treatment. Some of these will be long term goals and others may be more short term goals.
